Allegrow has two parts: the family app, used by children to time their music practice under a parent’s supervision, and Allegrow Studio, used by music teachers. Children don’t create accounts and aren’t asked for contact details. Parents set up the family app (protected by a parent PIN) and decide what is shared.

Allegrow is designed to be used by children, including children under 13, with a parent or teacher. We follow these rules:
Only to run Allegrow: to show practice and progress, share it with a connected teacher, show teachers’ assignments and lesson times to families, keep calendars up to date, send teachers the emails they turn on, and improve Allegrow using feedback you send us. We don’t use information to advertise to anyone.
Like any website, these services see technical information such as your device’s IP address when the app loads. They process information only to provide their service to us.
Family, student and calendar records can only be opened with long random codes, and each teacher’s studio can only be opened by that teacher when signed in. We keep the information we collect to a minimum. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep family codes and invite links private.
If we make meaningful changes – especially to anything involving children’s information – we’ll update this page and let families and teachers know in the app before the change takes effect.
